Job Okworo is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Qualified Certified Public Accountant of Kenya. He has over twenty-three years of progressive work experience in tax and law, having worked in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Kenya, KPMG LLP (UK & Channel Islands), KPMG Kenya, HSBC Bank (UK), Azets Limited (UK) and Eight Tax & Accountancy Services Limited (UK).
His areas of practice are international tax, tax compliance, tax advisory, business risk & compliance. He is also a partner at RKO advocates LLP (Kenya). Job earned a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi
Bosire Nyamori
Bosire Nyamori is a lawyer and certified public accountant with over 25 years experience in academia, tax consulting, and legal practice. Currently teaching at the faculty of law, the University of Nairobi he has in the past taught taxation at Massey University, New Zealand and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
In tax consulting and legal practice, he worked as a tax advisor at Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers and a tax and commercial law with Iseme, Kamau & Maema Advocate. Bosire received a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Auckland. He is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya.
Ngina Mutava (Catherine Mutava)
Catherine Mutava is an experienced tax lawyer with over 17 years of expertise in tax law, policy, and dispute resolution. She holds an LL.M. in International Taxation from New York University and an LL.B. from the University of Nairobi. Catherine served as a Member and Panel Chair of Kenya s Tax Appeals Tribunal from 2019 to 2022, where she adjudicated complex tax disputes and contributed to strengthening Kenya s tax jurisprudence.
She is currently the Associate Director of the Strathmore Tax Research Centre and a Tax Partner at Lexlink Consulting, where she leads tax research, policy analysis, and advisory services. Catherine has also worked extensively across Africa with international organisations on tax justice, gender and tax, and international tax reform. She combines academic rigour with practical experience in tax litigation and policy development.
Eric Nyongesa Wafula
Eric is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 26 years of experience in litigation and tax dispute resolution. He is the Founder and Managing Partner at Sherman Nyongesa & Mutubia Advocates, where he provides legal counsel across a broad range of areas including tax law, administrative law, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution. He previously served as a member and later the Chairperson of the Tax Appeals Tribunal, the Chairman of the Law Society of Kenya (Mombasa Branch) and the Coast Representative to the national council the Law Society of Kenya.
Eric is a member of several professional organizations, including the Law Society of Kenya, East African Law Society, International Bar Association, Commonwealth Lawyers Association, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (both Kenya and London chapters). He is also a Certified Public Secretary and a recognized expert in arbitration and corporate compliance. Eric holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. Beyond his professional pursuits, Eric is an avid golfer.
Gabriel Kitenga
Gabriel is a public policy expert with over 37 years experience in customs, excise taxes, trade and regional integration. Gabriel has served the IMF as a revenue expert, and the East African Community as a customs expert. He also served the Ministry of Finance and the Kenya Revenue Authority as a senior deputy commissioner responsible for customs policy and administration. He also served the Kenya Tax Appeals Tribunal where he excelled as a tax jurist in resolving numerous tax disputes.
He brings private sector experience on customs and excise gained in consultancy services while working a Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Diageo. He has also provided customs advisory services to several revenue administrations in Africa. Gabriel holds Bachelor of Commerce from University of Nairobi and a Master and PhD degrees in Business Administration from Kenyatta University.
